What is the difference between 1410 and 1415 U-joint?

READ THIS: The 1415 series AAM universal joint is just . 007 NARROWER than the Spicer 1410 series. The bearing cap diameter is exactly the same for both. The two are not interchangeable and great care should be taken to be sure of the manufacturer of your driveshaft before ordering and installing any universal joints.

Conversion or combination u-joints include a mix of two different series specifications in the same joint so that that mismatched yokes and driveshafts can be connected. The caveat is that the joint is only as strong as the smaller series.
