How do I get to Articuno in Seafoam Islands Fire Red?
Articuno is at level 50 and it WILL put up quite a fight. Go towards the east on Cinnabar Island until you reach the coast. Surf down then turn to the left to reach Seafoam Island. There will be a cave there, get inside.
How do you get through Seafoam Islands in fire red?
You can’t get through Seafoam Island unless you have a Pokémon that knows Strength. So remember to bring it. This underground maze looks mighty confusing, but it’s actually not that bad. The idea is to use your Strength ability to move boulders out of the way and drop them into holes in the floor.
Why can’t I catch Articuno?
Make sure you have a Pokémon with a status-affecting move like Sleep or Paralysis. Some of the of the best moves to have are Thunder Wave, Hypnosis, and/or Sleep Powder. These effects will greatly increase your ability to capture Articuno, as they up the percentages of a successful ball throw.
