Is HACC test optional?
Placement testing provides HACC with the tools to help our students achieve their goals no matter where they are in their educational journey. Do I need to take HACC placement test? If a student meets any of the below criteria and the information is included on your HACC file, placement testing will NOT be needed.
What is the minimum GPA for Dean’s List at HACC?

The full-time dean’s list recognizes students who achieved a 3.25 grade point average (GPA) or higher in college-level classes and completed a minimum of 12 credits during the spring 2021 semester. The students are listed by county and according to hometown mailing address in HACC’s online newsroom.

Are the teas questions the same?
This is important since the TEAS Test is different every time, you need to be exposed to as many different questions as possible. In fact, several of the questions from the book appeared word-for-word on the test and most of them were the same types of questions.
How does HACC calculate GPA?
HACC calculates your GPA in a certain way. We divide the total amount of grade points earned by the total amount of credit hours attempted….HACC calculates GPA on a four-point scale:
- A=4.0.
- B=3.0.
- C=2.0.
- D=1.0.
- F=0.0.
Is HACC library open?

Pool (currently closed) Tennis courts – 2 courts are open for use.
What is full-time at HACC?
Full-time = 12 or more credits per term. ¾ time = nine to 11 credits per term. Half-time = six to eight credits per term. Less than half-time = one to five credits per term.
