Log into the MyFIU. See Access MyFIU for help.
Select ‘Academic Records,’ then ‘Transcripts. ‘
Choose ‘Request Official Transcript’ from the dropdown.
You will be directed to the FIU Parchment site to order your transcript. Prices and instructions are listed on the site.

Does FIU require official transcripts?

Submit transcripts for admissions to FIU. FIU requires all incoming students to submit all official academic transcripts from every high school or college/university attended prior to submitting their application.

Where can I see my FIU GPA?

To view your GPA, sign in to my.fiu.edu. The go to Academics > My Academic > View My Unofficial Transcript > Report Type.

How long does it take for FIU to send transcripts?

Allow 5 working days for processing. Please note, the US Postal Service may require an additional 3-5 business days for delivery. According to University policy, transcripts are subject to a $10 charge per set. However, this fee only covers regular mail.

What email do I send my transcripts to FIU?

As of January 2022 FIU will only accept official original transcripts from verifiable email addresses, or sealed original documents issued by the institution directly. If official/original documents are not available please contact [email protected] for alternative options.

Can I skip a semester at FIU?

You may defer your enrollment up to 1 year. Request an enrollment deferral when you update your application and we will update you to the following year in the same term as you were admitted (early fall 2018 to early fall 2019; fall 2018 to fall 2019; etc.).

How do I send documents to FIU?

Use the upload tool on MyFIU:

Log onto MyFIU.
Select the ‘Student Tools’ tile.
Click the ‘Document Uploads’ tile.
Review the instructions then click ‘Accept and Continue.
Select the Department, Aid Year (if applicable) and Form Name from the drop down menus.
Select your file and ‘Upload.
Click ‘Submit’ to finish.

How do I find out how many FIU credits I have?

Log into MyFIU. See Access MyFIU for help. Select the the ‘Academic Records’ tile, then click ‘View Excess Credit Hours.

Can I transfer to FIU with 30 credits?

If you transfer with more than 60 lower-division credits or more than 30 upper-division credits, we still review all of your transfer courses and equate those that satisfy FIUs University Core Curriculum (UCC) and major requirements.

Is D passing in FIU?

Students can retake courses and receive federal aid if they had previously failed a course, but can only receive financial aid one more time for a course that has been previously passed. A passing grade is defined as D- or better.
