Does Sunsplash have life jackets?
Life vests are available in a variety of sizes at no charge. We strongly recommend all guests 48″ tall or under or who are weak or non-swimmers wear a U.S. Coast Guard approved flotation device.
How old do you have to be to go to Sunsplash alone?
No running, No horseplay, No roughhousing. Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult, 18 years of age or older. Appropriate swimwear is required. Swimwear with exposed metal fasteners, cut-offs and thongs are not permitted.
Can you go to Splish Splash pregnant?
I rode most of the slides when I was about 20 weeks pregnant. I think for some of the slides it is not recommended for you to ride if pregnant, but it is at your discretion. You could always call ahead to make sure.
Is it OK to go in a wave pool while pregnant?
According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, swimming is one of the safest forms of exercise during pregnancy. (Though it’s important to note that water skiing, diving, and scuba diving do not get a thumbs-up as they place pregnant women at an increased risk of injury.)
Can a pregnant woman go to an amusement park?
Avoid amusement park rides, water slides and roller coasters. Forceful landings and sudden sharp stops can hurt your baby.
Can I jump off a diving board pregnant?
Diving into the water off a diving board while pregnant is not recommended due to two things: Force of impact: The impact of the water hitting your body while diving, especially if you don’t dive professionally, can hurt your body and cause stress to your uterus and baby.
Can you ride a roller coaster on your period?
As long as you feel okay, it’s perfectly fine to go on rides when you are on your period. Some people get an upset stomach and/or feel dizzy after going on fast rides but this has nothing to do with your period.
Can you swim in a pool while on your period?
It is safe to swim while on your period and it does not increase your risk of infection. If you swim while on your period without wearing any feminine care products, the water pressure can temporarily slow your flow, but it won’t stop it completely.
What do female swimmers do when on their period?
Swimming during your period isn’t a problem. However, you will want to use a tampon when swimming so you don’t bleed on your swimsuit. Pads won’t work and will just fill with water. The tampon won’t fall out if it is inserted correctly, so go ahead and make a splash!
