Is there an age limit for lips NYC?
All guests to the Lips Showroom must be at least 16 years or older! For parents with small children and babies, Lip’s is here to entertain and have a good time.
How old do you have to be to go to Lips San Diego?
We are an all ages venue, however we strongly recommend no one under the age of 13. Our shows have colorful language and the innuendos fly freely. Parties under the age of 18 are required to have an adult present at all times.
What do you wear to a brunch at the drag show?
Whether it’s drag brunch at a restaurant or a performance at a gay bar, wear whatever expresses you best as a person. This could mean an opulent ensemble with feathers and sequins, or simple jeans and a t-shirt. Check the venue’s website or social media before you attend.

Who owns Lips San Diego?
After opening our doors in New York in 1996 our founder and “Queen Mother”, Yvonne Lame’, decided the next logical place to bring her Drag Dining experience to San Diego. Don’t ask why we don’t even know… we think she had one too many frozen cosmos, but in any case we were born.
Do lips get bigger as you grow?
No. They may get smaller with age, but not grow. As an adolescent reaches puberty, their lips may widen to match the growth of their jawbone, but the tissue will often soften and recede with age. Which is why rejuvenation of the lips is so popular with those in their middle ages.
