Does UCSB offer financial aid for Wildlands?
Wildlands is the only non-UC program that UCSB will offere aid for. Check with our office for additional information. Financial aid is available to cover the costs of the UC Washington Center Program.
Can I get financial aid for a summer program at another UC?
This application should be filled out by UCSB students who plan to participate in a summer program at another UC. Students who participate in a non-UC program through a Consortium Agreement are not eligible for financial aid. Wildlands is the only non-UC program that UCSB will offere aid for.
What is the interest rate for the UCSB loan?
The UCSB Loan is awarded to undergraduate students who are California residents, considered on time FAFSA or CA Dream applicants and who demonstrate sufficient financial need. The interest rate for the UCSB Loan is 5%. The interest does not accrue until repayment begins.
