When can you apply for GP?
Generally, the applications for Round 1 (start date in August) open in October/November of the year before and the applications for Round 2 (start date in February) open in July/August of the year before. As long as you meet the eligibility criteria you will progress to Stage 2.

Is GP training easy to get into UK?
Basics of GP training Entry ✓ The recruitment process takes place 3 times a year – twice for jobs starting in August (Round 1 and Round 1 re-advert) and once for jobs starting in February (Round 2). ✓ It is a highly competitive process taking into account your overall score in the MSRA assessment.
Is there an interview for GP training?

Is there a limit on the number of times I can apply to GP Training and will reapplying effect future applications? No. There is no limit to the number of times you may reapply for GP Training, however you can only make a single application for all available GP ST1 training posts in each round.
Is 40 too old to study medicine?

GP Training Application Stage 2 – Multi-Specialty Recruitment Assessment (MSRA) This is the stage which assesses both your clinical knowledge and your ability to problem solve with the professional dilemma section. It is a computer-based exam comprising both clinical and professional dilemma multiple choice questions.
