As always, it’s a matter of perspective, but this does not deserve the gushing reviews. A fellow hiker had the same reaction, calling it the “Garden of the Gods Mall.” The place is all paved walkways and a road snaking through it so people can do drive-by viewing.

Yes you can visit both Garden of the Gods Park and Pikes Peak in one day. The trip up Pikes Peak via the Cog Railway or the Pikes Peak highway takes approx. 3 hours round trip.
