How do I become a PA in the army?
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, plus completion of an accredited physician assistant program.
- Certification by the National Commission for Certified Physician Assistants.
- Eligibility for board certification.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Be between 21 and 42 years old.
- Eligible for a Secret security clearance.
Do you get paid during IPAP?
If accepted into the program, not only is it free but you also get paid your current pay rate in the military during school along with all other benefits that come with being in the military (housing allowance, healthcare, ect).
