WEX cards are always able to purchase fuel, and you can allow (or limit) purchases in the following categories: Automotive Parts & Service, Quick Lube, Oils & Fluids, Roadside Assistance and General Merchandise.

What stores accept WEX benefit card?
IRS regulations allow you to use your WEX Health Card in participating pharmacies, mail-order pharmacies, discount stores, department stores, and supermarkets that can identify FSA/HRA-eligible items at checkout and accept MasterCard® prepaid cards.
Can I withdraw cash from my WEX card?
The transaction is approved because doctors’ offices are coded as medical providers. Note: You may be asked for additional documentation after the charge is approved. You swipe your benefits card at an ATM. The transaction is declined because ATMs are coded as financial institutions.
Does square accept WEX cards?
Currently we do not support WEX fleet cards. I will make sure pass this request along to our product team. You can accept cards with the Master Card, VIsa, Union Pay, American Express, or JCB logo.

We know that you’ll pay zero setup, annual, or card fees for WEX’s FlexCard, which is a very good offer. We also know that WEX charges either $75 or 6.99% of the outstanding balance (whichever is greater) for late payments. But that’s as much detail as is available from trustworthy sources.
