What is darkness sensor circuit?

What is darkness sensor circuit?

Darkness Detector or Dark Detector is a circuit that detects darkness or absence of light. In this project, we have implemented a simple Darkness Detector Circuit using the simplest of all light sensors: the LDR (Light Dependent Resistor).

How does a darkness sensor work?

Working principle: Dark sensor works in the way that then the LDR comes to the darkness, or in other words, if no light falls on it, the transistor turns on. Then transistor turns on, it lets the current flow trough it and also the right branch of the circuit is now active. LED starts emmiting.

What is the cost of LDR?

Bombay Electronics The price of LDR Sensor products is between ₹70 – ₹160 per Piece during Jul ’21 – Jun ’22. These are indicative values based on popular product prices.

How does LDR sensor work?

When the light level decreases, the resistance of the LDR increases. As this resistance increases in relation to the other Resistor, which has a fixed resistance, it causes the voltage dropped across the LDR to also increase.

What is automatic dark sensor?

Dark sensor is also known as automatic street light sensor. it is a simple and powerful concept , which uses transistor ( BC 547 NPN) as a switch to switch ON and OFF the street light system automatically . It automatically switches ON lights when the sunlight goes below the visible region of our eyes.

What is sensor circuit?

What is a Light Sensor Circuit? The light sensor circuit is a simple electrical circuit, which can be used to control the (switch on and off) electrical load appliances like lights, fans, coolers, air conditioners, street lights, etc., automatically.

What is the output of LDR sensor?

The LDR gives out an analog voltage when connected to VCC (5V), which varies in magnitude in direct proportion to the input light intensity on it. That is, the greater the intensity of light, the greater the corresponding voltage from the LDR will be.

What is BC547 transistor?

BC547 is an NPN bi-polar junction transistor. A transistor, stands for transfer of resistance, is commonly used to amplify current. A small current at its base controls a larger current at collector & emitter terminals.

How does the dark sensor work in a circuit?

Dark sensor works in the way that then the LDR comes to the darkness, or in other words, if no light falls on it, the transistor turns on. Then transistor turns on, it lets the current flow trough it and also the right branch of the circuit is now active.

What is automatic street light control system or dark sensor?

Here is my new simple Electronics project about Automatic Street Light Control System or Dark Sensor. it is a simple and powerful concept , which uses transistor ( BC 547 NPN) as a switch to switch ON and OFF the street light system automatically .
