What is a shoe pick?

In Louisiana, the fish is known as choupique (pronounced ‘shoe pick’). Adult males are easily identified by a distinct black spot with an orange halo at the upper section of their tail. Choupique are found throughout North America.

How do I choose a pair of shoes?
