Is the Athlon X4 AD740 a good processor?
This new Athlon X4 Ad740 is a little slower in it’s processor speed but easily overclocked to 3.6 GHZ. The A series chip was running overclocked at 4.3 GHZ but still, most processes ran slower.
Is the X4 740 good for gaming?
The A series chip would be fine for everyday computing and maybe watching movies and it would be cheaper to build a PC with since it has it’s own graphics card built into the chip, but for gaming I don’t recommend it. If you have an FM2 board or are looking for an inexpensive chip to build a gaming system around, the X4 740 is a great choice.
