What is Tcpping?
TCP Ping is a TCP oriented ping alternative. It is used to test the reachability of a service on a host using TCP/IP and measure the time it takes to connect to the specifed port.
How do I install Tcpping?
Go to your Kudu site (i.e https://.scm.azurewebsites.net/webssh/host) to SSH into your app.

- apk add tcptraceroute.
- cd /usr/bin.
- chmod 755 tcpping.
- If you receive an error “cannot find bc. Install bc package:” use, apt install bc.

Why can’t I ping my public IP address?
