Why are my outer lips so long?
Some people are born with enlarged labia, while it may develop over time due to hormonal fluctuations in others. In some people, the labia become larger as they go through puberty. Some people also notice that their labia grow after pregnancy, while others see changes in their vulva with age.
What are the outside lips called?

The labia majora (outer lips) are usually fleshy and covered with pubic hair. The labia minora (inner lips) are inside your outer lips.
Is it normal to have outer lips?
The outer lips can also be longer and may even brush against the legs, but not necessarily stick or bulge out. Again, this is completely normal and you shouldn’t be afraid to embrace your extra length! Lots of women have small, petite lips which leave the rest of the vagina still visible.

They may dangle below the outer lips or otherwise be prominent. One inner lip may be longer than the other. Asymmetry in the labia is not necessarily a cause for concern.
Does labial hypertrophy affect the inner lips?
Labial hypertrophy can affect both sets of labia, but it is more likely to change the labia minora or inner lips. Hypertrophy in the labia majora may cause them to appear enlarged. Hypertrophy in the labia minora may cause them to stick out past the labia majora. Labial hypertrophy is harmless.
Do your inner lips hang below your outer lips?
