How do I set up a JustGiving page for a charity?
Just follow the steps below to create your page for a charity:
- Log into your account and click ‘Start Fundraising’.
- Click “A Charity”, to the question “What are you raising money for?”
- Search for the cause you want to support.
- Select the event you’re doing.
Does JustGiving go straight to the charity?
If your charity is based in the UK, there is nothing you need to do to send funds over, we automatically transfer donations to the chosen charity on a weekly basis (or, if the total donated to that particular charity on JustGiving is £50 or less, we wait until the end of the month).
Do you pay tax on JustGiving?
JustGiving is not an accounting, taxation or financial advisor, and you should not rely on information given on the Website or its associated services to determine any consequences of making a donation to a Cause.
Can you donate to JustGiving without an account?
How to donate through guest checkout? Once you have clicked on “Give now” on your chosen page, if you are not logged in, you will be taken through the checkout as normal.

Does JustGiving take a cut?
We deduct the payment processing cost on each donation of 1.9% + 20p.
Does JustGiving charge a monthly fee?
Charities who are new to JustGiving are able to join on our Start plan with no monthly subscription fee.
Does JustGiving have a fee?
We’re proud that we’re able to support people when they need it most, but we simply wouldn’t be able to do this without some running costs. We no longer have a 5% fee on each donation, instead, we now ask donors to add a small contribution on top of their donation to help keep us running and improving.
How does JustGiving make money?
We deduct the payment processing cost on each donation of 1.9% + 20p. If the donation is made is a currency other than GBP, the processing fee becomes 2.9% + 20p. If the donation is eligible for Gift Aid, we claim the Gift Aid from HMRC on behalf of the charity.
Is JustGiving for UK only?
Getting started with JustGiving Crowdfunding / I’m from outside the UK, can I use JustGiving Crowdfunding? Unfortunately at this time you would need to be a UK resident with a personal current account in order to set up a Crowdfunding page on JustGiving.
Can you see who views your JustGiving page?
You can see a full list of everyone that’s donated to your page from within your account. You’ll see their name, how much they’ve given and their email address (if they’ve chosen to share it with you), even if the show as anonymous on your page.
How do I see who donated anonymously on JustGiving?
If the donation was made to a Campaign Page you’ll find the Campaign name in the column titled Appeal Name. If the donor has chosen to share their details with you, you’ll be able to see their details in the relevant columns. If these columns are blank or say Anonymous, the donor has chosen to remain anonymous.
Can you share a JustGiving page on Instagram?
