I think that Narinda Dhami – the author – did an amazing job on 13 Hours. It really highlights the plight of young carers and what they have to go through. What really struck me in this book is how routine it was to Anni – the twelve year old protagonist. Anni’s mother has agoraphobia, this is when you are terrified of going outside.
