There is no fee to park or enter the natural area. A fee is only required to swim in Jacob’s Well. Swimming is permitted (with reservations only) between May 1-September 30. Hiking, birding, picnicking, geocaching, photography and viewing the spring are permitted within park hours, with no reservation needed.

Located just outside of Wimberley, it is open year round for exploration. Swimming is seasonally permitted; May 1st through October 1st. The artesian spring, known as Jacob’s Well, is the head waters to Cypress Creek and the water is contained in the Trinity aquifer below.
