Project summary The City Rail Link is being delivered by City Rail Link Ltd (CRLL), a crown entity owned by the New Zealand Government and Auckland Council. This 3.45km underground rail link will unlock our public transport network and transform how we travel around our city.

How much does the high-speed rail cost?

Are there tunnels under Auckland?

The Albert Park tunnels are found largely beneath Albert Park, in central Auckland, New Zealand. The tunnels were constructed as air raid shelters during the Second World War.

Is Mt Eden Station open?

Trains will no longer stop at the Mt Eden Station when the station closes on July 11, 2020. Trains on the Western Link will still stop at the Grafton and Kingsland Stations, however. KiwiRail have been helping to reconfigure the existing network to allow for CRL works around Mt Eden.
